Three-day Mediumship Development Class with 4 – 7 day Retreat
Windward Retreat Center Kaaawa, Hawaii on the island of Oahu

Retreat

Class

  • Fri., Sat., and Sun. 9:30 am – 5 pm, lunch 12:30 – 2, optional circle Saturday night
  • 12 – 18 students, beginner – intermediate level
  • Lecture and Q & A Friday morning – foundation & mechanics (review for some)
  • Lots of hands-on practice for the duration of the class
  • The focus of the class is to strengthen your evidential mediumship (even if you’re new), work in pairs and small groups, and get lots of practice with guidance and support. You’ll have the opportunity to try a taste of trance mediumship and/or to stand up in front of the class and try demonstrating (These are optional!). There’s no pressure to do anything out of your comfort zone, but you’ll be encouraged to stretch and grow.

Lodging 

  • Thursday Dec. 2 – Monday, Dec. 6: $395
  • Wednesday, Dec. 1 – Wednesday, Dec. 8: $495
  • Check in starts at 3 pm on arrival day, check out by 11 am on departure day
  • Shared rooms & bathrooms, rustic, see above link for Windward Retreat Center
  • Just a 3-minute walk to a white sand beach
  • Lodging at the retreat is limited to 12 guests

Commuting

  • Commuting fee: 0 (just pay tuition)
  • Commuting is an option for locals, those who’d prefer a private room and AC, or if retreat lodging is sold out. There are 3 hotels about 16 minutes away from Windward; Courtyard Marriot, Coco Bungalow at Tiki Moon Villas, and Paradise Bay Resort (check availability)
  • There may be lodging available in a home next to the retreat 

Meals

  • Healthy organic meals with fresh local ingredients
  • Dinner Thursday and 3 meals per day Friday – Sunday: $175 (maybe less)
  • Vegetarian options available
  • Commuters can choose (ahead of time) which meals (if any) they’d like
  • There’s a kitchen if you’d rather purchase food and prepare your own meals
  • You are on your own for food prior to dinner Thursday and after Sunday breakfast, with free use of the kitchen

Transportation

  • Transportation is not included
  • There’s a shuttle van to and from the airport; information to come
  • We will have a private Facebook group where participants can discuss travel arrangements such as sharing the shuttle or a rental car

Payment

  • A deposit of $385 will cover tuition and reserve your spot in the class
  • Payment for lodging and food (if applicable) is due by September 15
  • Lodging is first come – first serve, reserve your spot as soon as possible

Note

You’re on your own for meals, recreation, and touristy pursuits prior to 4 pm on Thursday and after breakfast on Monday. You’re welcome to make plans with each other, explore the island, or peace out at the retreat center, but Sharon will not be organizing adventures or otherwise engaging the group at that time.
